Through the combination of guided imagery, music therapy, light therapy and gentle vibration, The ZONE can help you focus, undo negative thoughts, deal with grieving and help change behaviors. The ZONE also helps to give a voice to abused and neglected children through two philanthropic partnerships. All net proceeds from The ZONE are distributed to the Arians Family Foundation and Voices for CASA Children. Both organizations are dedicated to helping children navigate the legal system.
As a family law attorney, The ZONE co-founder Christine Arians worked tirelessly on behalf of abused and neglected children in several states. She began working with CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) in Pennsylvania and Indiana to help ensure that children who are involved in the court system, as a result of abuse or neglect by their families, receive the help they need. Now that Christine and husband Bruce, head coach of the NFL Arizona Cardinals, have moved to Arizona, the Arians have gone one step further by forming the Arians Family Foundation, a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation, in 2013. The foundation offers “A Voice For Children” and supports and develops programs that strive to prevent and ameliorate the abuse and neglect of children. The Arians Family Foundation supports CASA, in making sure that children who are involved in the Court system, as a result of abuse or neglect by their families, receive the love and help they need. The Arians Family Foundation seeks to continue helping others in their life journeys through various public events including the Superhero 5K Walk-Run, the Arizona Celebrity Golf Classic, and the Arians Family Foundation Georgia Golf Classic. AFF embodies the vision of a better future for children to live in where they feel safe and loved.
There are more than 14,000 abused and neglected children in Maricopa County, Arizona, alone. These at-risk children would more than fill to capacity the ASU Wells Fargo Arena. Thankfully, 5 percent of these children have a Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) to look out for their best interests and to remain with them for as long as it takes to find a safe, permanent home.More children need the expertise and care of a CASA. Voices for CASA Children is working to being a voice to every abused and neglected child in dependent care by providing resources to support and grow the CASA program in Maricopa County.Voices has three areas of focus designed to enhance support for the CASA program, the CASA volunteers that are striving to serve these many children and the broader landscape of child advocacy.
Education is key and Voices continually promotes the value of the CASA program and the benefits gained through focused advocacy. Voices participates in community town hall meetings and other forums designed for solution-oriented discussion. Voices met with members of the Governor's CARE team and is a member of the Children's Action Alliance Child Welfare Taskforce.
